Matt Jonza

Tommy was born and raised in Lakeville, Minnesota. He lives in Woodbury with his girlfriend and their dog, Tucker. He graduated from Winona State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. His positive energy uplifts anybody that he comes across, and is the shining star of the office. When not making everyone smile at work, he enjoys getting out on the lake! His licenses are in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Illinois for Property, Casualty, Life and Health.

Heather is our Customer Care Lead. She can fix anything! She has been working for State Farm for over 5 years now and loves helping customers. She lives in St. Paul with her husband, Irving, her mother and their Australian Cattle Dog, Wiley. When not helping people with their insurance, she enjoys playing video games and watching horror movies with her husband. She joined our team in March of 2017. Her main focus is making sure all of your insurance needs are met. Her licenses are in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Florida and North Dakota for Property, Casualty, Life and Health.

Dan is our "fun fact" guy. He always knows a cool piece of trivia about any topic under the sun! Dan went to college at Bethel University and discovered his love for playing guitar and making music while there. When he is not finding all of the insurance options for you and your family, he loves to go hunting and fishing with his Fox Red Lab named Scout. Dan is licensed in Wisconsin and Minnesota for property, casualty, life and health insurance.

Wesley was born in Pennsylvania and had the luck of moving to the beautiful state of Minnesota at a young age. He attended the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire where he learned of his passion for saving people money. This passion lead him to State Farm! Another passion, Wesley discovered at Eau Claire, was his love for adventure and snowboarding. Wesley hopes to start traveling to more locations, both foreign and domestic, while also visiting as many ski slopes as possible along the way! Wesley is learning more about the insurance world with every passing week, and with being licensed in four states, including Minnesota and Wisconsin, he can fulfill his goals while also helping all of his customers protect their assets, income and family.

JJ is the newest member of the team and is already making a huge impact around the office! Originally from Shakopee, JJ attends the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. His favorite part about his role in the Agency is getting hands-on experience, learning the industry, and getting to work with such an electric team! Outside of the office, he is heavily involved with different on-campus groups in Eau Claire. Family is very important to JJ. His younger brother, Collin, and sister, Mackenzie, are two of his closest friends, and he is endlessly supported by his parents. He is licensed in Property and Casualty in Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Leah Gilbert was born and raised in Minnesota. She has worked in the insurance industry for seven years now! She brings with her a drive to take care of all our everyone with a warm and friendly attitude. Outside of the office, her favorite things to do include spending time on the lake with her husband and beautiful daughter along with their dogs, and of course family and friends! She is licensed in Property and Casualty in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and North Dakota.

Destinee is a Wisconsin native who recently relocated to sunny Florida, where she resides with her husband, Ian, their son, and their two dogs. She has cultivated a love of little pleasures: good food, good company, good drink, and good stories. Whether at work, or at home, she is happiest where she can help people! She is licensed for Property and Casualty in every state in the US and she looks forward to being your Good Neighbor.

Sharla is a New Orleans, Louisiana native who brings seven years of valuable experience in the insurance industry to the team. Sharla graduated from Aspen University with a Master of Business Administration. She finds a lot of fulfillment in her role through educating others on the critical importance of safeguarding their assets and loved ones - on top of providing excellent protection. When she's not at work, Sharla loves to travel and experience new places, get lost in a good book, and go out for a day of shopping!

Christi is the executive assistant to Matt Jonza. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in Art and Art History and a master’s degree in Education. Her educational journey not only reflects her passion for creativity but also underscores her commitment to fostering learning. Christi’s love for helping others is the driving force behind all that she does. Whether assisting Matt or supporting the agency team, her warm and compassionate nature shines through. When she isn’t working, she loves to travel and spend time with family and friends.

Brad was born and raised in Minnesota, and lives nearby in Woodbury, with his wife and four kids. Brad is a big fan of all things sports but enjoys playing golf the most.
